It means a big reduction in crushing time, quicker movement of ore onto next stage, less capital cost, less wear & rear on grinders (fine grinding is HELL on equipment & rollers)
Also because the course grains are very amenable, it means less time in agitation tanks, and less acid consumption.
This is what low-cost bulk mining is all about
