ACCC approval of the Quadrant takeover is due at the end of this month and the rest is a formality. Management has not backed off from their targets for drilling Buffalo suggesting they feel they’re still on target. There will be news on Buffalo before the end of this year or early next. Phoenix results are delayed as you’ve pointed out.

There is likely to be significant good news in the next few months. The approval of the Quadrant takeover in the short term has the potential to support the share price and lead to good news out of Santos and in the near term to other action by interested parties in the JV assets. I’m happy to hold here and can’t wait to see the developments over the next 3 months. True there’s a lot of uncertainty but the surprises are on the upside imho.
