What a welcome sight seeing today's announcement by SUDA that it has reached an agreement with Mitsubishi Tanabe for Zolpimist to be distributed in South Korea!
This is a terrific announcement for a number of reasons:
1. South Korea is one of the largest economies in Asia and represents a terrific market opportunity for the company
2. This deal could only occur if Mitsubishi were happy with their understanding of Zolpimist to date and the interaction they have had with SUDA since their first agreement was signed
3. This is the first deal that has been closed by the new duo of Paul and Michael thus proving they can close a deal. For Michael who is 3 months into the role in what is obviously a difficult time for all companies I think this is an EXCELLENT outcome for shareholders
4. With the AUD at 57c these USD upfront and milestone payments will become increasingly valuable given all our costs are in AUD
