Imo, it's looking iffy as to when, if at all, GB will get the $40m in tax credits its owed. Even more doubtful is the continuation of tax credits for Nth Slope operators.
Reading through the various articles from several Alaska based media, sounds like maybe April for a government decision on the tax credits.
The impression I get from Pat Galvins comments, is GB wont commit to any new exploration until there's legislation that guarantees the tax credits not just for the current year, but for years to come. Anyway, the financiers will make that decision for him.

Worst case scenario, imo, is the project lies dormant for years while Alaska struggles with its $3billion budget deficit and the tax credits, owed and future, are put on hold.
