12c/km/t at 700km round trip = $84/t trucking cost per trip
if 10g /t then = $480/t is approx value of gold per tonne.
so approx 17% of total gold value spent on trucking. When you add mining costs and toll costs I can't see massive profits left unfortunately? Cartage would be a very high % of the aisc.
perhaps the 12c/km/t includes the round trip but I doubt it.
