Thanks for the article, Mr Short. I do my best not to ignore information and opinions that differ from my own, but in this case the article seems more like promotional material for the company mentioned rather than something that is truly insightful. Rainbow, the company mentioned in the article, expects a capital expenditure of 2.5M GBP to create a demonstration mine. No hint of any processing of the material, no hint of any sales of the extracted material. Hardly seems to be any threat to increasing supply in the short to medium term.

But, given the assertion that there will be a need for another 4 lynas plants in a relatively short term, and given the lynas historical experience should temper others from leaping into the marketplace with new processing infrastructure it is hard to see any threat to Lynas appearing soon.
