I am fairly certain that if they have been in sub 20 until now and have a large holding and they read HC regularly - then they should be well aware that they are fair game ------ we have had numerous discussions about it.
Several on here have talked about pressure from others - living partners, family and friends ------- it seems par for the course.
I am lucky in that area - my partner is strong and a stayer - and, even though she likes to see the positions in strong green - can bear the bad weeks/months - as long as we are happy with the business and people who run it - I feel for those with nervous partners.
Most who entered early and were either small profit target people or just wusses - have long gone of course - and, their stock is now in far stronger hands - as it always is.
Everyone should realise that this is a different way of investing than say betting on a short term gain or investing for current dividend --- buy and hold is out of fashion - but, that's because of modern times and culture - but, the reality is it is still the biggest rewarding system of all - if you can possibly pick the right stocks or similar.
Anyway - all good -------- when I talked about $1 SP about a year ago - it was seen as ramping
Now ----- it is so close - it will be an interesting week.
