The 2019-20 Annual Report says on page 24 that gross sales (Australia, NZ and exports) were $188,994,000.

Exports in 2019-20 rose by $392,000 (an increase of 20.59 per cent). So if one does the maths, total exports last financial year were less than $2 million, or roughly one per cent of sales. PTL exports to mainland communist China, Thailand and Vietnam although apparently is looking at some other Asian markets. The Annual Report confirmed that COVID-19 was disruptive.

I assume that given the type of products, any exports would typically go by sea not air. Container shipping has been subject to much delay and disruption because that militant CFMMEU union wanted a way above CPI six per cent each year wage rise. The action is suspended but some backlogs of containers remain, whether empty or loaded. At the height of the disruption it was so bad that some ships omitted Sydney (Port Botany) and so containers had to be railed to or from Melbourne. Good for rail operators like Pacfic National and the listed QUB, but as a side issue QUB owns 50 per cent of Patrick's (port operator) so the problems had a cost to it.

My guess is that any problems with shipping of PTL products to mainland China would not be considered 'material' and hence there's no need for PTL to update us via the ASX.

I recon you're right though precovid & trade issues, increased asian export was considered an avenue to build substantial growth for the company....now covid = growth?? sustainable?? The numbers will be in the 1/2 year report, they will tell the tale. Note this isn't a knock of PTL, I'm still a believer & invested, they will consistently pay divi's at a competitive yield or be taken over at $0.80 - $1 IMO. I'II put it out there, what do you think of AHY as a possible suitor? Just a thought.
