hank I don't see any resistance until we pass 55 , and lots of fundamental factors (after adjusting for the recent profit downgrade if that's the last one,) are still suggesting a lot higher SP in 2015 .

Albeit Alliance is usually not very liquid, its a mining service company (sector still being talked down but that shouldn't last past 2015) and its already put out a lower profit guidance (first one usually followed by more down grades) , and to add to its repulsive features, flys planes (did Buffet say, if he had a gun with him he would have shot Oliver Wright down) .

However todays positive balance sheet ann and the strong bounce off 36 with increasing volume IMO suggest a positive open tomorrow and a test of 50c before EOY with increased liquidity until equilibrium returns closer to $1 in 2015..... if financial reports are around current earnings guidance.

Global supply of IO is expected to peak in 2016/17 and some commodity experts are guesstimating the bottom price may begin with a 4 which will only leave a couple of big suppliers (a few can still profitably go below USD 30). Yeah the lower AUD in 60s/70s will help next year but it may start to appreciate before worst of the supply peak arrives so it may not save many of our small/medium producers anyway. Therefore the directors will need to devise a new strategic plan that will ensure sustainable growing profits through acquisitions , diversification etc. They have had an easy run via the recent Australian mining boom but we will see if they are really worth what their private discussions mutually agree upon?
