I did a quick google on % of non smokers who get lung cancer and the first page offered up 10- 15- 20 and 28% as an answer to my question.

    Can they all be correct?

Another fun fact- less than 10% of smokers contract lung cancer.
Another report stated that Asian women’s rate of lung cancer who never smoked is approximately 50%.

Why is there so many studies that contradict each other?
Should I think that the results indicating a higher percentage of non smokers are supported by the Tobacco Industry?

I have no problem doubting what is offered up as scientific facts or being doubtful of statistics offered to support scientific consensus as you know but I didn’t mishear that conversation.

He could of been wrong, I have no doubt but as he was supposedly a leading lung surgeon interviewed by the most respected media organisation in our country I accepted what he said as being truthful.
