I've only just had a chance to reflect on Tewk's posts about the number of patients left in the trial as of the last announcement and what that could mean.

We know there are 53 patients left in the trial who have yet to experience disease progression.
We know the last patient was recruited on 31/1/2013.
We therefore know that 53 patients have gone for at least 13 months without disease progression.
We don't know what proportion of these patients are in the control arm and what proportion are in the HA arm but the law of averages tells us that the vast majority (if not all) should be in the HA arm.
Of the 53 patients, we don't know when they started treatment (other than it being between 3/1/2012 and 31/1/2013). Its possible that some of these patients have had no disease progression for over 2 years.
We know that there have been no extreme adverse reactions as the trial has been monitored and allowed to continue on 3 occasions.

All in all the possibilities are very exciting for patient care and for Alchemia.
