There is no take over and they are not converting the hybrids, they are simply buying Hybrids on the market via a subsidiary company.
There is no obligation on any holder to sell their holding.
Once you sell your holding if there is a conversion done on the remainder at a later date then ex-holders have no interest in the later transaction other than personal regret - they are no longer holders. You would have every right to speculate on future possibilities and decide not to sell at this time.
