The NICE review referenced in that paper stretches the bounds of "recent". It references the 2014 meeting. I attended it and the meeting definitely did not have the benefit of the BARDA sponsored, independent modelling completed last year in the USA. In fact it was the NICE meeting recommendations that made it obvious this modelling needed to be funded. As far as I am aware the next NICE Review scheduled for 2019, after this 2018 article, has not yet occurred. As the economic modelling was really the only major concern of the NICE committee, the 2019 review should see a positive recommendation to the NHS for use.
