Does a 1 TCF = 1 BCF
Petroleum Engineers typically use these units as per the below nomenclature and character case.
Volumes
m3 = a cubic meter
E3m3 = a thousand cubic meters
E6m3 = a million cubic meters
bbl = a barrel
Mbbl = a thousand barrels
(the “mish-mash” units of Kbbl is also used at Santos but is generally avoided.)
MMbbl = a million barrels.
Mscf = a thousand standard cubic feet.
MMscf = a million standard cubic feet.
Bcf = a billion standard cubic feet. (where a billion is 109)

Oil conversion factor from m3 to bbl is 6.28981100
Oil conversion factor from m3 to Mbbl is 6.28981100E-3
Oil conversion factor from m3 to MMbbl is 6.28981100E-6
Gas conversion factor from m3 to Bcf is 35.493710E-9
Gas conversion factor from m3 to MMscf is 35.493710E-6
Gas conversion factor from m3 to Mscf is 35.493710E-3
