Can some one please explain, what real effects the daily sp variations have on a company's day to day operations, profitability or loss for that matter? Are companys really bothered when the sp drops due to market sentiments only? Say, one day a company's sp drops by (suppose ) 5% and few days later the sp gains (suppose again) by 5%, would the company loose any thing in that period? Please ignore my lack of knowledge on this.
