Hi Guys have been reading your posts and find them really interesting. This is only a possibility and may be miles off mark but do you remember annoucement on 14-3-07 that UMC had given away 2000 km2 to a Chinese Co called ASF Group. In the announcement there was no mention given to any consideration for the tenements, which I found strange at the time. However I believe this group act as a facilitator between Aust & Chinese co's. Would it be possible that maybe these were given and in exchange UMC were introduced to a big Chinese co for a joint venture in the bauxite leases and somehow this has been what created the question in Parliament. I maybe barking up the wrong tree but it seems to fit along with a rumour I heard about an announcement tommorrow from UMC.
