Stuff it. I've posted once today, might as well post again.
Couldn't resist replying to that lot of Tripe you've just graced us all with Ghosta.
I don't know what neck of the woods you crawl out of down there in Van Diemen's Land, but I'm guessing it's the far North East, or the deep South West. I'm painting a picture. Long Beard, Cross Eyed, Two Teeth. How am I going? Close?
Either iether Or, you obviously don't get out that much. Obviously you have internet reception. Do you have a phone? If so, try giving a few Pilbara Geologists a call. Start with your beloved George Merhi, Andy Beckwith, and Mark Creasy. Even Ed Mead. They'd be only too happy to give you their individual opinions on Quinton Hennigh. I've spoken to all of them on several occasions, and I can assure you and everyone on this media that they hold Quinton in the highest esteem. Almost revered in One case!
Yes, DEG/KAI/ARV/anyone else you care to mention can progress the Conglomerates to a degree, within capital restraints, and suck it and see knowledge. DEG is actively involved at present. KAI too, but their well behind the Eight Ball. It is Quinton they are relying on for the heavy lifting. He has the nous. He has the coin, and he most certainly has the backing of Eric Sprott. And he has not left the building for a spell as you infer. He has a staff of near 50, and as such is well capable of covering more than One base at a time.
Oh, and as a clarifier, DEG's conglomerates range in depth from Two to Sixty mtrs!
Many thanks to whomever sold their Shares to me today. I do appreciate it.
Cheers,
Shamer
Looks like a Novo choir girl is now posting here, a newby by all accounts. Suggest you take the time to read over what has happened over the last year or so, as its obvious you have some catching up to do.
One of the first things you will find is that while some may hold Quinton in the "highest esteem" and believe him to be a jolly good fellow, his conglomerate exploration program has not been conducted in a competent manner. A long series of mistakes, holdups and failures- many of them forseeable. It is obvious he struggles with practical aspects of exploration, he has not demonstrated he has the "nous" for this kind of work at all. The "Toronto Mafia" is not happy, and according to his friend "Ramper Bob" Moriaty there has been general discontent amongst shareholders and calls for his removal. And his formula of using party tricks to bolster Novos share price is less effective than it once was.
You will also find that no work has been done at Purdys/ Comet Well for many months as the company pins its hopes on Beatons Creek and Egina. There has been no rush to complete the necessary work for trial mining of conglomerate...permitting etc.
You might then read about DEGS exploration program at Loudens where the conglomerate layers are gold bearing and up to 2m thick. They do intend to have a look at the thicker sequences at Steel Well etc where only a few nuggets have been found shedding from the conglomerate, but whether its worth further work will depend on what they find. Not all conglomerate in the right strata has been found to be worth pursuing.
As several posters have pointed out, structural gold is the main game for DEG, and and conglomerate gold might be icing on the cake.
It will be interesting to see if you actually do the necessary catch up reading to be able to make a useful contribution here. Most Novo Choir Girls seem content to keep there heads in the sand, and it aint golden eggs they are laying!

Numerous types of targets have been identified, Pacton tells investors
Pacton Gold Inc (CVE
AC) (OTCMKTS
ACXF) has finalised plans for this year's exploration at three of its Pilbara gold projects in Western Australia, one of the most famous mining regions on the planet.
Numerous types of targets have been identified, most with surface gold occurrences, including shear hosted occurrences and intrusion related environments, the firm said.

At Boodalyerrie, Pacton's most easterly Pilbara tenement, preliminary planning for a targeted drill program is underway for currently identified targets and will include expansion for additional targets identified by a sampling program.
At the company's Egina properties, initial 2019 exploration will consist of spot sampling of gravels with subsequent follow-up samples based on these results.
Bulk sampling
Pacton can carry out bulk sampling operations at these sites due to the strategic alliance last year with Artemis Resources, which includes access to the Artemis Radio Hill processing plant, now nearing completion.
At the Impact 5 tenement (the Beaton's Creek gold project), Pacton has established a stratigraphic equivalency between the exposed Impact 5 western plateau edge and the productive stratigraphy at Beatons Creek, the Vancouver-based resource company said.
The initial 2019 Impact 5 exploration program will consist of surface prospecting, and a specific 70-meter thick stratigraphic interval will be investigated.
Pacton currently controls the third-largest conglomerate-hosted gold property portfolio totaling more than 2,500 square kilometers and continues to aggressively review additional accretive acquisitions.
Shares slipped 3.6% to stand at $0.27 in midday trade.
