Hoos was a coup for IMU, not that the market seems to care one jot. Having met him (informally) and knowing his background, it is easy to see/say he's no mug.
Joining the board of a dodgy, back-door listed ASX biotech. Gotta ask wtf that is all about!?
My take is it's all about the science. He has bathed in it and clearly likes the flavour - so much so, he had to petition his boss to be allowed to join the board. (BTW - that's a pretty senior person @ GSK )
On that basis alone wouldn't you throw a few shares on the fire and see what starts smoking...
