There is a lot of consolidation going on in the transport industry. AHG (ASX:AHE) has just signed a contract of sale to buy Harris Refrigerated Transport.
KSC recently bought another co recently. Seems economies of scale are expected to have a pay-off, and why not?
Also KSC's exposure to Perth and WA and strategy to get further into bulk commodities should pay off. No matter what the price of these commodities - they will still need to be moved around.
