    re CDS All Canadian owners of Anvil will have their shares lodged with CDS. Only if someone asks for their shares to be directly registered in their own names, then they would be removed from the total holdings in CDS. It costs about $100 to get shares registered so no-one does anymore in Canada.
    CDS would keep track of individuals within CDS for ownership limits etc.
