Got my bidder's statement from Cape in the mail today. Had a very brief flick through then put it aside.
Key paragraph in PCG's letter to shareholders dated 4/10 is as follows:
"As previously announced, we are currently in discussions with third parties to see if a higher offer or alternative transaction can be made which your board is willing to support. Those discussions are ongoing and PCH is unable to give any guidance at this time on the likely outcome of those discussions."
PCG's Target's Statement is due some time late next week according to this letter - hopefully that'll shed some more light on how the third party discussions are going, or an update as to the state of the business and why we shouldn't accept $1.30.
