I'm sceptical of a counter bid. SRX is not a suitable analogy as referenced by previous posts. Furthermore, as far as my knowledge goes, T-Vec (in the U.S. however) was bought out by Amgen with no counter bids. Lastly, I haven't heard of any recent counter bids occurring for a biotech company specialising in developmental immunotherapy drugs. The possibility of a counter bid is negligible in my opinion.
I will be obviously pleased if a counter bid occurs but to me, this appears to be drawing closer and closer to Merck acquiring Viralytics. Good luck all.
