I'm just indulging in your comment. While I still believe the probability of a new offer in the next three days is next to zero, I'm interested in understanding the practicalities of this. If there is a new offer from a rival before Monday, 4 June - what happens? Is the court approval placed on hold and the proposal examined by Viralytics? Or is the shareholder approval on the Merck acquisition legally binding already?
Any insight on this would be appreciated.
