noomxx,i have just looked at the last year from the 20/3/09 to 3/2/10 and Perpetual have been in and out of metcash as a substantial holder,5 times they sold and 3 times they bought over that period of time.
You say they (perpetual)are a value investor not a growth or momentum investor (buy/sell).I would appreciate clarification of your post ,as like you i am a value investor and have just taken a modest stake in metcash.
