You are right about only 4 refineries left. 2 are Mobil, 1 is BP and 1 is Viva energy which is the old Shell refinery. Together they supply about 60% of Australia's daily needs when all are online at full capacity. Linton(Mobil) is subsidized by the Queensland government and the other 3 are far enough south to stand on their own with less pressure from the Super refineries of Asia. The issue becomes even more interesting when Malaysia start their brand new rapid refinery in the 2nd half of this year.
