Very good find, Eric.
In addition to the very credible source you provided, there are also a number of court cases filed by parents of those committing suicide after taking Tamiflu.
I am not sure what is happening with those cases as they will be coming to trial (IF it has not already being heard!) These cases when they were filed were widely published in the Japanese media. This adverse publicity which together with the near 100% Tamiflu resistance H1N1 seasonal flu and the good work Daichi-Sankyo put into LANI allowed allowed Relenza to overtake Tamiflu in Japan for the first time ever.
In the recent Roche report Tamiflu sales were up 3186% to Swiss franc 651 million. Using say F25/per doze (guessing only) this amount to about 30 million dozes. We will see what the Relenza sales to Japan in the coming GSK report but it will not require a genius to predict Tamiflu overtaking Relenza by a mile despite all the Tamiflu problems.
Let's wait and see!
