I heard that too KP...Mr Turnbull didn't bother to get in touch with Cory or ask to have a meeting to discuss what was common knowledge in the corridors that Cory was seriously thinking about leaving the LNP.

If you were leader of the Party wouldn't you want to know why? Wouldn't you want to know what the main concern was or reasons for the discontent...can the issue be resolved as the grumblings are destabilising. Maybe Malcolm secretly want Cory to go?

Cory Bernardi has been quite outspoken on many issues...he was first to call for a ban on foreign political donations following Dastyari's Chinese donation. He has been outspoken on SSM and other "topical" subjects.

This imo has further proven that Malcolm Turnbull is totally unsuitable to lead the LNP, he has no communication or people skills. He succeeded in alienating half the LNP support base through stabbing a sitting elected Prime Minister to satisfy his inflated ego, and now he is pulling the Party apart from within through disinterest.

The LNP has made a huge mistake in allowing Turnbull to "lead" the Party.

Déjà vu eh...The LNP are now faced with the very same dilemma that faced the ALP with Gillard. She rolled KRudd with Shorten's backing, the Polls plummeted and she then staggered then scraped through the next election to form a minority Government...by telling lies of course. Turnbull got one seat to save his skin...then the ALP saw their chances of re election fading fast so Shorten was called once again to pull the numbers to roll Gillard and put KRudd back.
Krudd's ego and hatred for Gillard was enough for him to relish the moment and say yes please.
Abbott won't be a part of any further coup, so it will have to be either Dutton or Morrison to stand in to save some furniture...

If Turnbull is still PM at the next election we'll see Shorten as PM...farewell Australia.
