don't think so to be honest. debeers are a hard nut bunch who will want top dollar for any assets. I'd imagine there wouldn't be a sell off of individual assets either given the major shareholders within that group. a merger would neither be on the cards given it would need to be sold effectively. only a handful of companies in the world that could afford or want to afford to buy them. ya never no but that's a hell of a raise to come up with. we are not quite there yet. and by the time we are, we won't need them
