A little update for all AVZers: I’ve contacted Leonard yesterday via email regarding the transport route study (he’s onsite in the DRC atm, I’ve emailed him yesterday morning and he got back to me by around 6pm AEST, so that was pretty prompt considering the 8hr time difference). He explained the delay is due to that the independent contractor group they hired based in Tanzania had difficulties getting quotes from various suppliers and govt depts. AVZ has provided a number of queries from the draft report and Leonard believes the draft report has been finalised. AVZ is just awaiting the final sign off of the report from the contractor, then proceed to complete and release the SS ASAP (subject to ASX satisfaction after review etc).
