That's right BR. The same tech that JAT has licensing rights to for use in countries like Mongolia with their vast lignite deposits, won a very competitve government grant to build a commercial demo in the Latrobe Valley.
The $30 million grant was out of a total of $90 million on offer. So the Vic and Federal governments who funded the grant must rate the tech highly.
Pity the market doesn't. But that should change with any news of a deal for the coal plus tech in Mongolia or elsewhere.
