I did a little more investigating for the Latrobe Valley Solar Project

The 70MW Morewell Solar Farm (Originally 'ARP Solar', now development taken over by Ratch Australia)
Project construction proposed to commence in 2022 with a battery component added sometime in 2024.
The final capacity/depth of the battery is yet to be finalised.

I sourced the 'Ratch Australia' map which was rather poor. I decided to develop a new image with text boxes and the LMG project site onto a new Google air-photo. I no longer have ArcGIS so did it the dicky way lol. Anyway, its pretty accurate.

If you look at the attached image the Morewell Terminal Station is only about 1200m (As the crow fly's) from the LMG plant site.



In the corner of the original GIS by 'ARP Solar", the legend indicates
Red boundaries = Subject site
Tramway Rd reserve to connect site 1 and 2
66kV underground connection to Morewell Terminal Station
