I think the real issues is when you have multiple markets open at the same time. It could create a domino effect.
At the height of the China boom, export prices were adjusted every 3 months and in some cases monthly,
but when you have multiple markets with this level of volatility then it sticks of trouble.
I think Hilary should have challenged trump eligibility to stall the result so markets have time to adjust. Not sure it would do much good.
Interesting that Trump didn't look excited when he was elected. This tends to reinforce this whole exercise is more of a power ego than genuine.
