During a previous interview Clive Palmer stated that he would be $400 million richer by Xmas. This was after he had already received the first $200 million from Citic.
What if post consolidation Palmer sells as part of his agreement with the various Chinese parties involved 400 million of his ARH shares at $1 each (hence the current share price). Palmer also puts in as part of the deal the balance of his land holdings. Palmer is happy because he is instantly $400 million richer and receives for the rest of his life royalties from the Magnetite based on his various agreements.
The Chinese are happy because they are now investing Billions in a company that they control and have a lifetime supply of Magnetite.
What this means for the rest of the shareholders depends on the terms of the various deals.
Perhaps Glen you could put your Accountants hat on and come up with some possible scenarios.
Just another thought?
