In fact, the likelihood of a gigantic placement close to current prices, is in my opinion the reason for the weakness of CNP in the past two weeks ( particularly relative to CER ). The bigshots have realised, thats what is going to happen. They have realised, that the massive dilution is going to wipe out most of the upside for existing shareholders, and a lot of people who have been betting on the sort of byteme theory are going to be very disappointed by that outcome. The smart money knows that Centro will survive but they also know, the cost to existing shareholders will be too great. And thats why the shares have been so weak. The smart money is selling out and pursuing better opportunities. Like Allco ?? sheesh
