I personally don't think this will affect the company as an entity, it appears to be a the reclaiming of damages upon case law, in that case, the directors and such are covered by insurance. Likewise, I could do a search for similar cases and provide everyone with a plausible outcomes if people can't do that them self. I can also print this out and take it to my professor and see what a Law professor with years of experience thinks.

IMO, this will not affect long term growth but will be a hump that NEEDS to be overcome. As long as this oes nt halt the company's growth, then we should be okay. The Directors and CEO, should balance their time and not solely focus on the case. If they do that, I will still be staying for my expected timeframe of 5 years. I see this as a major buying opportunity to get the weak hands out.
