    Hello All,

Was thinking about the Business and Beyond production.

It seems to have appeared unexpectedly, but has it?

The major US oilers have reduced exploration budgets, knowing well that new economically extractable reserves have been exhausted. The Canadian Tar sands are producing energy intensive and environmentally damaging 1 million barrels per day.

    Solution...... Coal to liquids?

The US is approaching the presidential elections and need to address 2 issues: Carbon emissions and energy security. The US Pres. has already urged his fellow Americans to reduce energy consumption so not to be so reliant on oil from unstable suppliers.

Producing coal to oil (liquids) with the vast US and Australian brown coal reserves could go a long way to address the energy security concern.

Utilising COLDRY would reduce emissions and energy intensity in producing Coal to oil.

Could we see oil major Chevron/Texaco and/or Exxon Mobil collaborate with ESI considering their coal to oil ambitions?

Could the Business and Beyond production be linked to an impending deal?

Why would Platinum Broadcasting secure exclusivity for the US only and not care about rights to other parts of the world?

Yesterday’s announcement certainly raises some interesting questions/scenarios.

TVision..........yes I remember SLX very well!
The characteristics of SLX and ESI are strikingly similar. Let hope we see a repeat.

    Regards
    RBA
