Hi trent,

only when an official take-over notice is issued to the company, the company needs to make an anouncement.

Many companies I have invested in and that had been taken-over had rumours before it was made official.

Not saying that CCU is going to be taken-over, there could be a number of reasons why we have the recent run.

First of all we are very cheap at current prices and I am obviously not the only one who is believing this.

And we all know what happens to companies that are cheap , they either get re-rated quickly, or a vulture will fly in and take them out.
