Thanks Tutes, that is exactly the news that I thought would be coming. Why wouldn't this company be taken over by a bigger better company? Seen it happen time and time again.
Was recently in Atlas when they were taken over by Hancock, they came in and bid over twice the price, then overed more later on to clean up. It will only be a matter of time before AMP is taken over, I have to say, what a ridiculous price for a Bluechip company. It is advertising a takeover, it is only a matter of time. Lets hope Macquarie is the one to do it.
The question would be, at what price? $5 or above?
