I agree. The lack of business acumen of the original permit holder and the subsequent monetisation of the permit by MEO is to be applauded. It is unfortunate A1 was a duster, but so are the majority of wells drilled, however MEO managed to turn a handsome profit of many tens of millions of dollars from what the original permit holder could not.
