ROE can't work with CNP, if you are using reported old figures, all your figures were badly out of date. If they are reporting losses, there is no earnings for calculation. Your method may work for companies reporting profits. Would have to calculate your own estimates & even then can't see why you would buy CNP based on that methodology.
