Another problem was/is Kevvy's "can do faith in the Lord" approach. He never entertained risk. Never entertained that any of his magic BS deals might fall over and you need a Plan B, C, D, E etc. As long as you have faith and no evidence, hey, what could possibly go wrong??

They squandered more than two years with FRL while the boom slowly unwound, sitting on their hands doing nothing because this "too good to be true" deal would deliver mountains of untied cash.
