BHP at $27.1 yesterday had a PE of about 4.2 based on 2009 earnings. Earnings may fall though but then again they might be steady or even rise, who knows. Market cap at these levels of about $90b. IF they keep turning profits like they are for the next two years then somethings gotta give.
