IM not sure how one of the worlds largest hard rock mines can be so profitable when the grades are so low.
All the hard rock lithium in the world means nothing if it cant be mined at a profit.
There is a huge amount of companies looking for lithium and at this rate there will be many producers competing bringing the price down at a future date after the current continued rise in lithium prices for some years to come.
1% to 1.5% is a poor result compared to grades around double that being sampled by many companies in Australia but yet to be drilled.
I suspect that many will be burned very badly here over time
