A well know Lithium investor replied to a 'sophisticated investor' on Linkedin, (I suspect sophisticated investor is 'Mineralised'), on why he had bought in at around 3.4c when (because of the placement at 2c), the SP would likely drop below 3c. (Which it hasn't!).
I think the main reason it has not falllen below 3c again, is because of the suspected size of the resource, soon to be known from DD and PFS.
I like this:
"Lithium obtained from spodumene with no / low mica content, it is literally a cash press. The numbers below are even better if you have access tailing dams (eg. no mining cost) as Mineral Resources (Wodgina) & AVZ do."
And this is interesting with reghard to the next placing price:
"Assume worst case this is a 100MT resource (85% reduction of Hartleys expectation in note - easily takes into account 60% ownership) x AUD 150 / ton = 150 million market capitalisation = 3x to 4x upside now. Hence my opinion under a low case scenario the next capital raise should be 5c to 10c / share."
There is supposed to be 100MT in tailing dams!
What price if 500MT or 700MT!, there are even higher estimates out there.
"I had my own geologist (a specialist in lithium) review all the data. His view was this is a 700MT+ Resource. Hartleys called this a 640MT resource+."
AVZ MC $38M
PLS MC $540M
Once people realise AVZ could be bigger than Pilbara, this could get exciting to say the least!
