re: galom Nido will be bringing ROD fields into production soon. Hopefully before end of this year.
Did you pick it up. Its in the presentation. And obtaining rigs wont be a problem. They have a plan to deal with this.

Arttse, do you have anything you care to share with regard to the obtaining of a rig?

Rapid Oil Development, Nido has the plans & the staff. as they say don't be caught snoozing..

perhaps we could see other companies contacting Nido because they have abandon oilfields because they thought they were uneconomical.

as usual just speculative stuff, and you should seek professional advice.

In addition, obtaining a rig will still be on the critical path for these projects, the ROD strategy is that other aspects to the development are removed from the critical path (eg a processing facility can be available within 6 months rather than the traditional 18-36months) so Nido can be opportunistic with rigs if they happen to be in the area... In addition to this, if the appraisal and development stages are combined, only one
rig program will be required before first oil rather than two - limits the impact of rig availability.
