The outcropping veins on TI are still there, as far as I know. The initial diamond drilling was done with a lake rig, which is designed to move over the lake on huge tracks without sinking. This rig, while capable of drilling anywhere, once in position, is not able to crawl over the island. Check the drill hole locations, and see if any were done from the island, I doubt it. IMHO these veins will be drilled from the island later on, however first a causeway will need to be built to the island. This is time consuming just to get the required permits, and expensive. IMHO management want to drill the island, however using lake rigs for the time being is cheaper and much faster than a caudeway.
The aircore results have unearthed a monster gold system that as per the map, is open to the north and south. Note that the magnetics suggest that open to the north and south is a strong possibility. I await the remaining aircore results impatiently.
