Are you suggesting breakeven for shale oil E&P is at $40 - $50 per Bbl? Even EOG would stop drilling except for absolute plum development pads
Even off the top math suggests otherwise for say EUR (and the U is Ultimate) of 300MBO (NRI) at $50/Bbl is $15M in gross revenue. With top acreage purchased at $40,000 an acre in EFS and well costs at $8M and at 50 acre spacing I believe the F&D so far rounds out to $10M plus LOE, G&A and production taxes and of course interest expense. Highly variable there but you could look at HK for grins. Adds at least $30/Bbl does it not.
Already over $60/Bbl....
