did you know that there was an article in the newspaper a while back, trumpeting that the Aborigonal group (maybe ATSIC but cannot remember) had applied for exploration permits for CSG permits for around 2/3 of the state of NSW?????
yep - I assume they were awarded. when I get a chance i will try and find the article.
in the article a member of the Aboriginal body involved said something like "if the big O&G coys can do it, why don't we try and get some of the spoils" or something like that.
but the issue is, here are the greenies saying for example save the Piliga from CSG, and save all these suddenly discovered and endangered species, yet here is this new group with a supposed affinity with the land, applying for CSG permits?
something does not add up.
