I completely understand what you mean. I try to not be biased and am aware that it's easy for anyone to fall into bias no matter how unbiased you think you are so I'll try to always listen to opposing views and play devil's advocate and seek the truth in the middle.
Unfortunately this can come across wrong to highly emotional people who are against hearing any sort of information that does not go against their narrative. It's easy for anyone to get caught up in that and you need to actively check yourself to not end up like that.
