Instos are obviously the beneficial holders (under the Nominees) and I would expect there will be some movement amongst them. Probably value funds buying <$9.50ish given forecast P/E quite low. Personally I think its more likely that shorts are being covered at this price than new shorts added.
I don't find the reference to consensus valuation particularly persuasive. DJS is trading at c.30% premium to consensus; RIO at a discount of over 30%. Its not as if the market gravitates towards brokers forecasts.
